Make sure you're not distracting your readers with links that lead visitors off the page, including website navigation links. Logos are an exception - people should have the option to access your home page by clicking on the logo. The visuals reinforce your message and help clarify it.
Visuals can be in the form of screenshots, or videos that show your product being used. Follow up immediately when a user signs up for more information or makes a purchase with an email thanking them for doing so. You have the first chance to start a new relationship.
