In August 2011, Rick and Carole Newcombe was paying Shanghai a visit. We arranged a book signing event for the Chinese edition of In Search of Pipe Dreams. 

What greatly complemented the event, was that Rick brought all of the finest examples appeared in the book, including Sixten Ivarsson Volcano, Bo Nordh Ballerina, Lars Ivarrson Blowfish,  and other pipes by Bo, Lars, and Jess Chonowitch, S.Bang, etc.. 

The event was nicely hosted by local tobacconists C-Pipes & Youranyide, cooperatively.
